By day, David Hughes is a teacher of drama and theatre at a secondary school, but by night (and any other time he finds) he is a playwright.

Currently living in Cheshire, David has studied and worked in drama education for the past 13 years and has developed a particular talent for writing one act plays with unexpected, and sometimes shocking, twists.

David lives with his wife and young daughter and likes to spend time walking with his family in the Lake District (as well as the occasional holiday in warmer climates).
