Jonathan has lived most of his fifty-some years in North Carolina.

After college, he worked as a stage manager and lighting designer, then put in a number of years with his family's bakery. This was followed by two decades in the software industry as a technical support specialist, consultant, and trainer/road warrior. Since then, there've been excursions into the realms of tailor, nursing assistant, and medication technician. All these experiences have contributed to who he is and what he writes about.

In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, red wines, cooking, and theatre. Jonathan reminds himself every day how fortunate he is to have shared the best and worst of the last thirty-three years with the man of his dreams.
